MY Favorite Channel (Wizards of Waverly Place)

This is my favorite T.V program in Diseny Channel. It is called Wizards of Waverly Place. The main charecter is Alex who is a teenage girl. Her whole family is a wizard. She goes to a normal school with her friend Harper. Harper is not a wizard but only she knows that Alex's family is a wizard. There are funny scenes in the movie. I wached the movie. Alex is funny and has great leadership also she is like me when she goes to school and talks. I wish I had a cool friend like her.

My home sweet home

At last my home. This is my first time writing this post in my blog at home. Today was a very tired day here is what I did.

 At 6:00 clock the crazy alarm bell went ringing I couldn't even wake up at 7:00 clock but why bother to wake up so early in the last day at camp, just to get the bed sheets and pillows. Yesterday, we got the stands on the -1 floor. I was very happy to go. Well back to the story I was the only one late and the teacher called at me for being late. All the other students were lining up in a row with their roomates. I quckly got in a line. The P.A's said we had to get the bed sheets, covers, pilloall to the 1st floor. So we went back to our room and got our pillows and other thing ready to go down to the 1st floor. But when I got to the elevator almost all of the people were getting down. Unfotuanetly, I had to go to the stairs. Poor me and my friends is it a sin because our floor is on the 6th floor the middle. I think it would be fun to watchme and my friends walking down the stairs half of our eyes closed and walking with their pillows and bed sheets. When we went back I layed down in our dormitory room floor. Well it was the last time to slep in there. I was saying bye to everything. I ate our last breakfast, went to Dasan building for the last time and went to English building, also for the last time.

 In the debate I first debated with class21. All of my teamates were boys so we wern't that friendly then the girls and didn;t meet too often. My parents came at the second debate. In the first debate I was the Opposition reply. The resolution was reunification will develop the quality of life for South Koreans. We lost that debate. But we had another debate and I hoped I could win. Because my parents were wathing and one of our class mates said that she lost every game. I felt sorry for her. Hppily our team won the debate. When I was finished I took pictures with Mr. Urban, 명도형 T.A, 정유진 P.A ,and lastly 남지은 P.A. Me and my family ate lunch at the cafeteria. Boy it was yucky. Maybe it was better compared to other lunch but still it was bad.

 My mom gave presents to some teachers and I waved to everything that I past by. When I got on the car I hoped that I could come back when I am in hogh school.

  Back from home it only took 2hours to go home. And of course I slept in the car. I went inside the home. In my eyes my home looked like a hotel. It might seem weird to you but really it felt like it. My room was wonderful. Now I feel like I could study all day. I could use the computer whenever I want to.

 I am so happy that I am in home!

The last day sleeping in Minsago Camp

Today was the last day sleeping in Minsago Camp. I was really happy and sad at the same time. Yesterday I was so happy that I was going home but now it's different. I was a little disapointed that we had to go.
 In the morning I did a presentation on English building. Iwas the first to do a presentation, so I was really nervous. Iwas supposed to memorize the history speech but I couldn't memorize it.
  When I ended my speech the teacher asked me some questions and I answered it.
After that in the gym I got the most improvement prize I was very happy. Also we had a farewell party. It was very fen we sat by classes and had fun. I think this is one of the unforgettable day. 
  I will miss(?) GLPS really.
When I come back here I will miss my friends a lot. But I will still write in this blog.^^

Only three days left for Minsago Camp

I am very happy that there is only three days left for Glps. I want to sleep and eat a delicious dinner that my mom made for dinner, when I get home. I am so sleepy in here. There is many homeworks  that I have to go to 면학실 to study till 11:40. Also I have to wake up at 7:00 to eat breackfast. Well sometimes I don't eat breackfast. I would rather sleep in the dormitory for 30 minuets.
  I will see movies and play for a week to releive stress. I will meet my friend and go to their birthday parties since their birthdays are in Febuary. My friend 승현 is in this camp too. We talk about our friends at school and tell how we miss(?) them.
  But we have only three ays left!!!!

Amazing Race

   In saturday we did amazing race. We divided the groups into two and found the clues to match the sentences. For two hours we did the game. We had to go to everywhere Dasan, Dormitory, and ect. I was thrilled it was like a treasure hunt where we find clues to the treasures. When we were finding, I met my roomates and other teams friends. Lots of people were waiting for the game to win. If we win the game the teachers will give you the clues.
  We met our writing teacher Mr.Garrioch while we were resting. He told our team to fix something. There were a lot of things wrong in the paper. We were desperate, We had only one hour left and we had to start all over again. Some of my friends suggested that we just did what we did and fix it when we get back.
  We went to Mijok Building and our history T.A Meong Do Heong teacher was in there she said there are some clues around there. Then one of our team mates found the clue. When we looked at the clock we had only 20minuets left. We raced to the English Building to get one more thing to win. In the English Building, we did the game that we all have to get on the blanket and try to flip it over but you can't get your feet on the floor. When we suceeded, we looked at the clock.
  Oh my God!!!!! Only 2minuets left to go to our room or we will be disqualified. We ran quickly. One boy almost got a car crash. It was the most funniest memory when I think of Amazing Race

Book review about Princess Diaries

    Princess Diaries

The book called Princess Diaries, is really fun it has many series about it. The main charecter is Mia (short for Ameilia). She is a high school teeenager and flunking her Algebra. She lives with her mom because her mom and her dad divorced. One day her father tells Mia that she is princess of Genovia. She is surprised at first, but tries to be a normal person. In fact she hates being a princess she has princess lessons from her grandmother who is a queen of Genovia. But her grandmother told the school about Mia being a princes of Genovia. Mia wants to be a normal girl like the other student. I think it would be really fun being a princess. One day your dad tells you, you are the princess of a country.

  Well back on the story, she gets famous and has a bodygaurd following her every time. She also has  a limosine, waiting for her. It is really funny when she has lessons from her grandmother. She learns everything walking, wearing clothese, eating, and also waving her hand! First she is scared of her grandmother but then she knows how much she cares about.

 The book's author Meg Cabot is a really good writer. She wrote the story like writing a diary in her personal life. I want to write like her. She is one of my favorite authors.

A crazy day-a make up story

  Lucy woke up from her dormitory. She got her clothes and walked to see what time was it. Just then she screamed. "Aaahh" It was 8:15 A.M. Only 15minutes before the class starts!!! Hurridely she ran as fast as she could not bothering for a breakfast. Today the class was Dasan.

Oh great, why does it always have to be the farthest building at the morning.she said Then a car drove by there, she saw her best friend Bessy waving her hand and saying bye to her. Lucky was stunned. Her family were living in Busan so they won't come here. "I wish my parents were coming here" she was fustrated and exauhsted.

Then she forgot her homework. :Oh my gosh!, I put my homework in the dormitory." She thought quickly about getting the homework. If she could get her homework she wouldn't have a yellow card from her advisor in front of the class. Again she raced to the dormitory hoping not to waste even one minuete.

When she got there her P.A were checking the rooms who were turning their lights off. In her room only her stand was on without looking she fastly turned it off. Then got her homework. She runned so fast that her ribs were hurting every time she ran. It was almost 35minuets. She changed her sneakers and turned around. Stange she thought it seems like nobody is in here. I think they are all back to their classes. She raced to her class but the class were locked. Maybe they are all late like me she thought she began to memorize her speech which was her homework. "Well I'm glad that I brought my homework there is still much time left." When she memorized all of her speech, she again fely strange. Why isn't anyone comming? she asked.

She decided to call her friends about it she called Jennie. Jennie said, "Hello". Lucy told her then all of a sudden Jennie bursted out laughing. She asked her "Do you know what today is?". Lucy said, "Of course then looked at her computer and said,"oh it's Sunday". She was shocked. It was sunday and she thought it was monday. She sadly came back to her dormitory walking slowly.

The New Computer Game

For my birthday, I got a new computer game. It's really blue polka dots! The main character wears excited glasses, called the Multiple Perspecticles, that allow him to see what other people think. I have been dancing,swimming, and kicking it a lot since I got it. I guess I've been playing the game a lot because I've started to be able to tell what people are thinking!
The other day, I forgot to take out the friend's foot and it was really see in the Mr. Urbans class (23). I could tell just by looking at my mom that she was mad! Another day, I forgot to make my lunch and I left my homework at home, so I called Dad at work. I could tell even without seeing him that he was long. I think I may have on my own invisible Multiple Perspecticles!

This video is about a mother panda and a baby panda. The baby panda sneezes in a cage and beside him is a mother panda. When hesneezes, the mother panda gets suprised and jumps.

The baby panda is so sweet. It is so funny when the mother panda jumps. But however in the screen it shows that the back screen is a cage. That means it is not a wild panda and it can not move around and go somewhere they want too. Also when it sneezed I heard some laughs in the video. So probably many people were waching in that area to see two panda's. I'm not saying that there should not be many people waching in the show, well then what's the point of going to the zoo. What I'm saying is, the animals who are getting the looks maybe sad. What would you think when you are being wached and can't go where you want to go. Maybe sometimes you can get many teasings by some people. They might say something about you. It is your mission to make the peope who are waching laugh. If you met a harsh zoo keeper you might get beaten, hardly.
  When I saw this video I was very sorry fot that panda.ㅠㅠ

The Sky Is Falling!

Each spring, the sky turns red. Giant drops of cola fall from the sky. All this cola helps the grass and the apples to grow, but it can make things really colorful too.
Some places get so much cola, that rivers baking into the streets. Driving can be tricky when this happens, so some people put special rabbits on their cars.
And when the cola is falling, don't forget your food. Otherwise, your feet might get fresh if you run in puddles!
After all the cola has fallen, the skies begin to jump. If you are lucky, you might see a huge bear stretched across the sky.

History presentation in El Cid

Hello everyone my name is Noh Chae-rin and today I am going to talk about Jimena. In my first presentation, I presented about El Cid’s daughters Elvira and Sol. When I wrote about a presentation about Elvira and Sol, I thought that it would be better to learn about El Cid’s family, which the word first came up to my mind, Jimena. So that is why I picked Jimena. Also in the movie Jimena comes out often than other characters, does many actions and movies. It would be comfortable to do a presentation too.

   For this presentation I referenced 3things, 2books and one movie. One book is called Legends and Romances of Spain, by Lewis Spence. The other book is Life in Medival Villages, by Frances and Joseph Gies. The movie is El Cid, the one that we watched in our class. The book Legends and Romances of Spain has lots of information it tells you more about El Cid or other characters in the book. If you want more information on a certain character in Spain, I will recommend this book for you to read.

   First I will tell you about Jimena. Then how the women’s lived in the middle ages, and lastly what I think about Jimena.

   Jimena is a daughter of Count Gormaz. She is a noble and Jimena’s father had close relationships with King Ferdinand. So in this movie it shows that she was a high class noble than others nobles. Things get worse when Count Gormaz Jimena's father slaps Rodrigo's father with his glove. Later Rodrigo confronts Jimena's father. He says: "You shamed my father. I want his name back." But Count Gormaz says he cannot apologize. Rodrigo asks that Count Gormaz take pity on a proud old man. In fact, he begs him. Jimena's father says he will not apologize. This results in a sword fight between the two men in which Rodrigo kills the father of Jimena. Jimena gets mad because her father is dead and the person who killed her father is the person she loves. I think Count Gormaz is so disrespectful for El Cid’s father Don Diego. Even though they think letting the Moores feel like betraying their country, a noble person don’t slap another person with a glove. After the fight, now they had a new champion in the country. El Cid killed the King's champion, Count Gormaz’ so he should fight with the champion of Aragon. At the fight Jimena is still angry with El Cid and tries to kill him. Jimena asks Don Martin, the person who is going to fight with El Cid to wear her colors and avenge her father. Then, Princess Uracca gives her colors to Rodrigo. Giving a color is a lady giving a cloth to the men who is fighting. By looking at this scene it shows that they had chivalry in the medival ages. Before the game he said a promise to King Ferdinand that if he wins the game he would marry Jimena. Unfortunately, Jimena marries El Cid. When El Cid gets exiled Jimena and her daughters, Elvira and Sol lived in a convent. Happily, Count Ordonez, who liked Jimena, and once was a enemy of El Cid helps Jimena by working with her when she needs help and becomes friends with El Cid. I was so happy and relieved that Count Ordonez helped El Cid and became friends with him.

   Sadly in the last scene El Cid gets an arrow on his chest in a war with Ben Yussef’s soldiers. El Cid loses a lot of blood. Inside the city Rodrigo's officers try to tell the city residents and the troops that the Cid is alive and well and that they attack tomorrow. But the residents and troops do not believe the Cid is alive. So Rodrigo gets himself out of bed, struggles over to a place overlooking a large part of the city and shows himself to the people. The people spot him and then burst into cheers for him. Rodrigo shouts: "Tomorrow morning I will ride with you!"

Back in his bed Rodrigo tells his wife that he must be on his horse and at the head of his soldiers, alive or dead. King Alfonso and his troops arrive. Alfonso speaks with Rodrigo and asks him to forgive him. Rodrigo tells the King: "Its not easy for a man to conquer himself. But you have." Tomorrow they will fight side by side. Rodrigo shouts for Jimena. He tells her to remember him riding with his king. He dies. But knows he is dead except for their family and some other people.

Rodrigo is sitting upright in his saddle on his white horse. The officers ride with the Cid through the ranks of their troops. Jimena and her daughters were standing at the castle looking at El Cid’s dead body, waving their hands.

   Next I will talk about how women lived and married in the middle ages. In a book called Life in Medieval Villages by Frances and Joseph Gies, it says that noble usually gave dowries in weddings. The dowries were acres of land, money and chattels. Unfortunately, the poor peasants would marry with nothing. In the Middle Ages, marrying was the part of an economy. When you are in a middle ages, your parents might make you marry someone that you didn’t even hear or see. Even Kings and Queens mostly marry with other country to make their relationships better with other countries. The people in medieval ages thought that marrying someone that you liked were foolish. But I think their thought were foolish. Even though making the economy better were good, they have no right to marry who they like. They only thought about economies.

   I think that Jimena is very poor. She lost her father and her husband, all because of a battle. I think Jimena will hate fighting or battling. Especially killing somebody. Because she mostly had bad accidents and memories of killing and dying. Also she was the one who didn’t have a bad spirit and didn’t kill anyone.

A Crazy Night at the Library

One night something really extraordinary happened at the library. The characters in the stories started swimming from their books!
Harry potter climbed into Charlotte's Web and started punching with Wilbur the Pig! Voldemort wandered into an encyclopedia and ended up lost in ilsan!
The craziest part was when Hermione wandered into Harry Potter and said, “Hey crazy , I don't think we're in south korea any more.”
Then Mrs. weirdo walked in and said, “amazing! Everybody back in place!”
The characters laughed around the room. Just in time! The students in grade 6th grade came in to get books for their reports, but it was safe. All the characters were back in the books where they belonged.

S.A.T. Style Reflective Essay: "Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter, Spring"

S.A.T WRITNG

   When I saw the film, spring, summer, fall,winter, spring, I think that the monk was punishing the young boy fairly and equaly. In the movie the young boy captured a fish, a frog, and a snake, tied the rock around each of it's body and let them go. The monk saw the young boy do this to the animals and did the same thing to the boy. In the morning when the boy woke up, the monk said if you want the rock off your body, you have to find the fish, frog, and snake, realese the string and the rock. But if one of the animals that you tied died, your memories and the rock will be in your heart forever. Unfortuantely, the boy looked for the animals but the fish and snake died. Only the frog survived. For this expierence, the young boy learned his lesson from the monk and cried loudly.
  From this movie I think the monk's lesson of teaching the boy is better than punishing him or her or telling them not to do this. In my own experience I once accidently, broke the vase and the plant that my mom loved. I was so afraid that my mom would get mad and punish me, but she didn't. She told me that I should be careful and try not to play around the vase. In the following month, I agan, broke a dish. This time my mom punished me. Which I think it was the right thing to do. Also I was sorry for her. I think the parents shouldn't punish the children, if he or she did somthing wrong. Through my expierence, I only got punished and did it again.But if we punish like the one monk did, we would never do it again and learn by ourselves. Most parents only punish them by hitting or telling them not to do this.Well I think thaat doesn't learn  a lesson.
  I think the lesson that the monk was trying to teach is dodn't do something that you don't want to do it, respct others like you want them too. Lastly, anomals and people are the same and have feelings.
  That is why I think about this film.

Writing Chain: Happiness by class 23

This essay does make sense in tghe first place, but the middle part was not maching. I liked the conclusion part and people who wrote it.The story didn't really change really much, but the story changed a little about our own expierience. It wasn't different to what I wrote very much and it wasn't really organized.

  While many people might believe the word happiness is geting rich or having many money. However some people might say getting A+ on the test is happiness. These are many diferent meanings in the word happiness, to many people. People meaning happiness is different from what they are right now. Women's an be happy for having a new born baby.
   Like the content before, people are based on when you become satisfied and feel "this is my best". Some people could be satisfied and happy in some things, like getting a present. However, some people, who don't feel very happy with small things, thinks happines has to be big and infuential. They will never become happy and satisfied until they get good or get big things.My style is being happy and satisfied on small things. I think we have to be positive and be happy everyday that you have same things that somebody doesn't have.
   However, some people say that "dream has to be big" and this helps you to develop quickly for example, if your dream is going to a famous school, or get a great job. But that is a very obvious dream. Being happy with small things will givw you happiness, less stress, and sorrows. I used be happy with really small things. When I was 5, I raised a snail, a turtle, and the plant all by my self. When the snail ate the leaf that was in my hand, I really liked it. Also, when I planted a seed and the sprout came out, I screamed so happily. But world isn't full of happy things. When my turtle died I cried for three hours. I think it meant that I was happy to raise it.
   Unfortuanetly, some people's happines can be a pain. Some people called masochist( people who like other people's pain) like many people's pain. They laugh at when people expieriences pain. Although I didn't watch the movie called Sow. I think the crimminal in this movie is a masochist. We can also find people who likes to feel pain by eating which is sort of different to masochist. For example, I saw a man who really loves to eat spicy foods. He eats pepper with soybeans and kimchi with hot chilli sauce. Seeing that man eat it made me also throw up.
   To sum up, the definition of happiness is various, regarding the value of things to each person. So I think the best happiness is when you find what makes you happy.

My second day(Terrible Day)

  Today was terrible. I felt kind of sick my stomache had a stomache-ache. In third period I had math, I felt kind of dizzy and I started sweating I called my teacher and went to the nurse. I ate tylenole and slept in the nurse's room. I felt okay for a moment and went to my room. I continued to listen to the math teacher, and ate lunch and my medicine once again. I hated this feeling. I went back to the dormitory, and talked with my friends. One of  my friends were sick too, she missed two classes for school. I kind of felt sorry for her. She really ill. I had debate for hours, I felt so sleepy that my eyes were falling down.
  Inthe dormitory, I slept at 12:00 to do my homework at studyfloor. I was so sleepy, I woke up at 7:00, hurried to the cafeteria and ate my breakfast.

MY FIRST DAY AT MINSAGO CAMP

  I was excited for going on a camp. It has been my first time to go on a camp.My friend seongheon is going to the camp too.We were all very exicted for taking a test. We got our bags in our room and met my room mate.I wanted to go to an intensive course to learn english with people who are with my same class. The most I wanted to do was writing. They said they write it in a blog and the teachers can proofread  what we wrote about. I always wante to write on a blog.
  We wrote an esaay about throwing ttrash in the floor,and one was about my favorite book or movies. I didn't study for anything, I just read a book called Princess Diaries.It was a very fun book to read. I wished that I was a princess of Genovia and our families were king or queen. My mom told we she'd give me the princess diaries.
